Bacardí Carta Blanca White Rum 1L

Bacardí Carta Blanca is the world's best-known white rum, light, crisp and easy to mix. This one-litre bottle is ideal for parties and well-used home bars.

Origin: Facundo Bacardí Massó founded the company in Santiago de Cuba in 1862 and developed a lighter, smoother style of rum. Today Bacardí is family-owned and produces its rum mainly in Puerto Rico.

How it's made: Distilled from molasses and aged for up to two years in American oak barrels. It's then filtered through charcoal to remove colour, leaving a light, delicate rum.

Tasting notes: Crystal clear. Light aromas of vanilla, almond and fresh fruit. The palate is crisp and smooth, with notes of vanilla and almond, and a clean, dry finish.

How to serve: The essential base for a Mojito, Daiquiri or Piña Colada. It's also great mixed simply with cola and lime, or with lemonade and soda.
