Origin: Pepsi was created in 1893 by Caleb Bradham, a pharmacist in New Bern, North Carolina, who first sold it as "Brad's Drink" at his drugstore counter. He renamed it Pepsi-Cola in 1898, and it has since grown into one of the best-known soft drinks in the world.
