Martini Prosecco DOC 750ml

Martini Prosecco DOC is a fresh, fruity Italian sparkling wine from one of Italy's most famous drinks names. Light and lively, it's made for toasts, spritzes and sunny afternoons.

Origin: Martini dates back to 1863 in Turin, where the company became famous for its vermouths. Its sparkling wines draw on the same Italian heritage, and its Prosecco comes from the officially designated DOC area in north-east Italy.

How it's made: Made from Glera grapes grown within the Prosecco DOC. The wine undergoes its second fermentation in pressurised tanks, keeping the aromas fresh and fruity and the bubbles lively. Contains sulphites.

Tasting notes: Pale straw colour with a lively mousse. Aromas of green apple, pear and white flowers, with a hint of citrus. The palate is light and refreshing, with soft fruit and a clean finish.

How to serve: Serve well chilled, at 6 to 8°C. Lovely on its own, and ideal in an Aperol Spritz, a Bellini with peach purée, or with a splash of elderflower. Pairs well with antipasti, light salads and fried snacks.
