Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire blends Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey with Jack Daniel's own red-hot cinnamon liqueur, and the result is exactly what the name promises. It's spicy without being harsh, with the familiar character of Jack underneath.

Origin: Tennessee Fire is made at the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, and was first released in the US in 2014. The bottle keeps the classic Jack Daniel's square shape but swaps the black label for a red one.

How it's made: Old No. 7 is charcoal mellowed through sugar maple charcoal and aged in charred oak barrels. It is then blended with a liqueur built on cinnamon, with notes of allspice and clove.

Tasting notes: Warm cinnamon and sweet spice on the nose. On the palate, the cinnamon heat is balanced by the caramel, vanilla and oak of the whiskey, and the finish is warm and smooth rather than burning.

How to serve: Keep it in the freezer and pour it as an ice-cold shot, or mix it with cola, ginger beer or apple juice for an easy long drink. In winter, stir it into hot apple cider.
