About this product
Monin Caramel Sugar Free Syrup offers the taste of caramel without added sugar. This 1 litre bottle is sized for cafés.
Origin: Monin was founded in 1912 by Georges Monin in Bourges, in central France, and is still run by the Monin family. It's now one of the world's leading syrup makers, used by baristas and bartenders in more than 150 countries.
How it's made: Water, natural caramel flavourings and sweeteners instead of sugar, with a preservative. See the label for the full ingredients and nutrition information.
Tasting notes: Golden. Aromas of caramel and toffee. The taste is sweet and smooth, close to the classic caramel syrup.
How to serve: Add 10 to 15 ml to lattes, cappuccinos, iced coffee and frappés. It's also useful in no-added-sugar milkshakes and protein drinks. It's also good drizzled over yoghurt or porridge.
