About this product
Wyborowa is one of Poland's oldest vodka brands, made from rye for a smooth, slightly creamy character. Its name means 'exquisite' or 'choice' in Polish.
Origin: Wyborowa has been produced in Poland since 1823, and it was one of the first Polish vodkas to be registered and exported internationally, in the 1920s. It's still produced in Poznań, in western Poland.
How it's made: Made from Polish rye, distilled and rectified to a high purity, then blended with water. Rye gives the vodka a fuller, more textured taste than many wheat-based vodkas.
Tasting notes: Crystal clear. A soft grain aroma with a hint of bread. The palate is smooth and lightly creamy, with subtle rye spice and a clean finish.
How to serve: Serve ice-cold, straight from the freezer, in shot glasses with traditional Polish food. It's also a good base for a Vodka Martini, a Moscow Mule or simple long drinks with tonic or juice.
Who it's for: Vodka drinkers who like a bit of character, Polish food lovers, and home bartenders looking for a reliable rye vodka.
